Today in chat many of us were talking about our pets and we decided to post pictures.  Please join us and post a picture of your buddy who is a blessing during your healing!

The "Add a Picture" tutorial:

 

Ok, first click "reply" so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. Come on, don't hesitate...

 

Remember, you can scroll down to see this text while still at the "Post Reply" box.

 

Now, look at all those cute little buttons below the "Subject" and "Message Icon". You'll see one line with a "B", an "I", a "U"... yeah, just ignore that line. That line is not relevant to this tutorial.

 

The second line contains picture icons. The first looks like a crazy circle, but the second one in looks like a cute portrait! THAT'S the magic tag. Click it and see what happens. Watch the magic.

 

What you should have seen in your post were two tags - [img ]http://and [/img ]

 

These are image tags. Anytime you want to past an image, click on the little portrait and WALLA! image tags will show up. From there, all you will need to do is insert the URL for the photo you wish to link. So if I want to link another funny cat pic and the location for the image is at:

 

http://middledigit.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/cat. jpg (the link is broken for the purpose of showing you how to do this)

 

All I need to do is click the little image icon and insert the link as so (you can also just type in the IMG tags, which I normally do):

 

[img ]http://middledigit.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/cat. jpg[/ img]

 

(Again, there are spaces in there that don't really exist, one after the "g" in the first tag, one between cat.jpg and the last after the "/" img. Do not use the spaces, as they will create a broken link. NO SPACES!!!

 

The finished product will look like this:

Mama had just had a spot removed between her ears, notice the shaved place,

and couldn't go outside until the stitches came out.

Poor kitty!

 

And this is our late beautiful Border Collie / Aussie mix.  His name was Happy Dog.  

He was a lost puppy who came and stayed... for over 12 years...  Sweet.

Missy is beautiful!  I bet you knew that...  What breed of cat is Missy?  And your parent's dogs looks sweet and very huggable!  Thank you for you for sharing their photos.  My Furry Folk were wanting some company and I enjoyed see them, too!

Thank you everyone for sharing your pets photos!  They are all so awesome!

 

I forgot to add our feral cat to our family album!

 

She has been coming for about a year and a half to have dinner "with us" but isn't at all interested in coming to join us as a family member...  Wish she would!  But she sees herself as a wild animal that has some human friends!

 

Her name is Cheshire for her white smile that is the only thing that shows in the dark when she hurdles close to the ground!  So, Chessie is also part of our lives and is much loved whether or not she wants to live with us full time.

Lilyagain: There are several feral cats that are breakfast, lunch and supper guests at my house I have named them all and they know me but they are 'no touch' kitties. There's a small, furry orange female that recently brought her five(!!) kittens to meet me. They all look like her. Her name is Layla (Eric Clapton is a fave of mine Do not have pix yet though. Am loving looking at everyone's pets! T2

All pets are just beautiful. They always make me smile.

My cat don't like much to cuddle, and she don't like to be in a lap at all  . She don't like strangers and on every little sound she is on caution. But I love her and get used to her personality.

Cats are all so different-personality wise. Mine love to be petted--the tame ones that is(have several feral kitties outdoors--no touch but they allow me to feed and water them )but they do not want to be picked up--that's asking for catupuncture for sure. T2
