Hello,

 

I'm  new here and I'm really struggling with withdrawal from lorazepam.  I have been temporarily put on diazepam and will then have to withdraw from that. Its terrifying me

We know how difficult this is, you’re among friends who understand.  Can you tell us about your lorazepam struggles, were you switched to Valium because you were experiencing interdose withdrawal?  How are you reacting to the Valium and how long have you been on it?

Can you tell us your dose and how you’ve tapered thus far?  We suggest reducing your dose by about 5-10% every couple of weeks or whatever your symptoms will allow, we’ve found that listening to our bodies can keep us functional while we rid ourselves of the drug.

Are you stable on the valium you are now taking? How much ativan were you taking and how long?

How much valium did they start you on?
