How long have you been off the benzos?

@[he...] I understand about not being on here anymore. I have been checking in about once a day in the morning but like you I feel like it’s time to end my relationship with this site. There is no point to it anymore. I know what’s wrong with me and there is nothing that can be done to fix it. Either my body will heal itself or won’t. I’m sorry you’re still having trouble this far out. I was hoping that you had made a recovery. Take care my friend

Unfortunately some people take longer to heal, but everyone heals to some degree given enough time.  The problem is expecting to be healed by a certain time and then when it doesn't happen then you believe you are permanently broken or will never heal?  I am over 7 years off and still get stretches of poor sleep here and there, but they ALWAYS even out and then I can go literally for months and months or even a year or longer with no sleep issues.  It's good to take a break from this site, but I found out that when others told me they experienced the same sort of issues long after getting off, it made it a bit easier to deal with.  Good luck!
