I want to switch to Valium from 2.50mg of K

I want to slow down my taper and switch to valium. First of all, can I drop the K and immediately start taking 50mg of Valium instead? Also, I'll need some help with a plan. Thank you.

I switched from Klonopin to Valium.

 

I did it in stages. I would not recommend crossing over all at once.

I switched from  2mg a day ativan to 4mg a day valiums instantly, no taper..I think if I had more valiums to take (correct 10mg to 1mg valium to ativan ratio) my switch would be easier.....Its been bumpy, but not unbearable...like today ifeel pretty damn good, yesterday too...sleeping good now, and its been 13 days.  FOR ME the switch seemed easier just to do it, it seems that i have had less wd symtoms than people who slowly taper?  But for me I fought through days 2-5 and its gotten better everyday since?
