Depression increase as dose gets smaller?

Hi all,

I'm not getting much of a break from the depression as I'm coming down in dose.  Is this expected?  I thought it would lessen up as the doses became smaller.  The intrusive thoughts or memories are here.  Regrets, almost a life review.  Even the happy times I am experiencing melancholy.  If depression is this bad and the benzo is the problem should I consider speeding UP the taper for that reason alone?  At what point is dragging this out more harmful than helpful?

For some it does lift…. It did for me but once below .11mg.

 

You’ve def come down pretty quick for 1.5mg so might be why it’s sticking around, life review I still have lots of night and especially around that time of the month. Follows a pattern that increases with hormonal mess for me and that’s when severe depression kicks in again for me it’s the hormonal aspect that brings it out now….. where higher up I was the constant gloominess.

 

Not sure if making some smaller cuts more frequently if you want to keep same pace might be helpful but hoping it starts to lift for you.
