Ok. I am at my dr...who I drive 3 hrs to see.

Tell him the K isn't working.

Tell him I am getting worse-fear and depression, way nervous.

Tell him I tried in  the past taking higher dose, as well as 2 separate jumps off.

He says,"well, you could try a tricyclic AD, you could up the klonopin.  And then he says----

OR you could go off the klonopin and I can write you a perscription for Xanax to deal with the withdrawal"!!!!!

I take a deep breath and say" Isn't that kind of like if I was trying to stop drinking vodka and had w/d and you tell me to deal with it by drinking scotch?"

 

I guess its the little known hair of the dog theory?
