So many duplicate avatars

I’ve looked through hundreds of posts here now over the past month, possibly over a thousand.

 

I’ve noticed a lot of people have the exact same avatar. Like sun & clouds, a little football guy running, guy with long hair & 5oclock shadow etc.

 

Not sure why I’m posting this. Just an interesting observation & wasn’t sure if anyone knew why. Not something I’ve seen on other forums.

There are stock generic forum avatars in a gallery in your profile settings, most people choose one of these since it's an anonymous forum, altho you can also upload a pic if you choose too. The ones you see lots of duplicates are the popular standard options.
