Titration question

when you break up a pill to a liquid form it usually absorbs to your bloodstream alot faster and leaves your system alot faster too... so wouldn't it be better to break up a tablet and swallow it so it slowly absorbs into your system???.....just wondering what to do when I get down to .5mg of klonopin and if anyone has experience with this....thanx

Hi Dennis:

 

I believe the most important property of a benzo is its half life and I'm having a hard time visualizing how this would change significantly based upon your example.  I doubt there would be any benefit to breaking up the tablet in order to reduce withdrawals.  Perhaps others could chime in on this.
