3 years of diazepam and hoping to one day be free

I would like to join BenzoBuddies for support as I taper of my benzo. I have taken diazepam for 3 years. My current dose is 20mg. I have just started my taper.

Congratulations on starting your taper, it can be a challenging process but its wonderful to be free of this medication.  What is your taper rate, we suggest reducing by about 5-10% every couple of weeks to hopefully remain functional but using your symptoms to guide you is the best way to approach this.
