I was on 1 mg alprazolam for 21 years for panic attacks.  I tapered off in 4 months and have been clean off them for almost 9 months.  The withdrawals have not gone away.  I have had lots of tests done and the doctors can't find anything physically wrong with me.  Thank you

Hello Artisticfox, welcome to BenzoBuddies,

There isn't anything physically wrong with you, you're in recovery from withdrawing from benzodiazepines and when your brain completes the healing process, you'll be just fine.  On average it seems to take anywhere between 1 and 2 years for us to heal so don't lose hope, you're in the 'normal' time frame for this process.

I'll provide some links to get you started on the forum but please let us know how we can help you, what are your symptoms?
