I have been taking some kind of Benzodiazepine for about 20 years. Currently I take Triazolam, .125mg

Previously I have taken Ambien and Xanax. I have been unsuccessful in withdrawing. Have tried many alternative things to get off unsuccessfully. Deeply depleted

Hello Mary My,

Welcome to BenzoBuddies, we are glad you are here!  Yes, getting off benzos is hard - I am sorry you are struggling.  Have you tried using the Ashton Method of tapering slowly to minimize withdrawl symptoms?  That is what we at BenzoBuddies suggest.  Tapering at the rate of 5-10% every two weeks or so tends to make symptoms manageable and allows you to stay functional.  Additionally, I found having a community like this helped me get through the rough patches and members answered questions I had.

The link to the Ashton Manual is below along with some other helpful links to get you started.  If you need help or have questions, please ask.  You can post when you are ready.

Again, welcome,

The Ashton Manual
