Very short taper after 3 years

[iw...]

Recommended Posts

I tapered over 12 months, in 30 mg steps.

In November of 2019 90mg,6 months later 60 mg,6 months later stopped.

Today is 18 months since I stopped and doing better with usually one good day followed by one bad or so so day and the cycle continues.

1st 2 months were acute withdrawal(severe panic attacks, derealization, dizziness and a falling sensation), and since then Paws.

Now my symptoms are anxiety, tinnitus , stomach ache and occasional panic attacks.

Symptoms for me are the same as benzo withdrawal.

The drug was nifedipine which is a blood pressure drug but in hindsight I found out it is a psychiatric drug as well.

Below is a link to a description of the drug.

Thanks for reading.
