Does mental fatigue and sensory overload goes away?

I can't even play boardgames with my friends because anything with too much stimuli feels like it's too much for me and makes a part of my brain feel like it's burning.

 

I had to change my hobbies. I can't play online videogames anymore.

 

I read someone in FB saying that this could last forever for some and this makes me wonder if I updose until I have my life back. I am so frustrated and sad about this.

 

Anyone here that had these symptoms got back to normal?

Yup , after 31 months . However I still cannot listen to heavy music. Over 20 years I have collected DVDS . I love movies and had to walk out on the new Bond movie. Now I watch Disney.
