What tapering rate worked best for you?

I am considering adopting the 10% rule now I found a compound pharmacy. I am at 6.25mg of Valium.

 

Some on Facebook suggest a taper rate of 2% but that implies in a bunch of time.

Go as quickly as your symptoms will allow. The general rule of thumb here is 5 to 10% every 7 to 14 days. Some sources say the same percentage every 4 weeks. Just let your symptoms inform you. It's trial and error, and you have to figure out what works well for you. Don't go faster than your body can heal.

 

I'm doing 6.1% / 14 days, and I may need to go slower due to symptoms. Be willing to adjust as needed, as life events can arise and up your symptoms.
