Hi, I am currently taking an opioid pain killer for chronic pain whilst doing diazepam taper. Since taking the p/killer I am VERY sedated. My pharmacist tells me that diazepam heightens sedating effects of many drugs, including this one I am taking. Have others experienced sedation due to combining meds? And if so did sedation lessen as taper got lower? Altho' I really don't like the sedation, it is still better than constant burning pain.
