No doubt times will become very much more modern than now; by the end of the 21st Century, these days will be the OLD DAYS.

 

I personally think antigravity will take off one day: streetlights floating and no poles, cities built to float to whatever geographical location (floating cities) and the list of unimaginable technology goes on.

 

Of course, it will take time, but the world will get there.

 

Possibly an orbital ring around earth at some point.
