When ppl say they have "chemical anxiety", do they mean they have anxiety now that was caused by being put on psychotropics (chemicals) like benzos that they did not have prior to being put on the drug(s). I ask bc I was put on benzos for anxiety and panic.

Yep never had an anxiety before being made CT zopiclone, only took it for insomnia. Not like normal anxiety, got awful intrusive, crazy thoughts, feel like you are loosing your mind, and never lets up. Nothing I've tried eases it. Even though manage to sleep fir 4 or 5 hours now, does nothing to ease the anxiety, still wake up the same. Did get panic attacks when first off it, but they have eased,  again never had them before in my life, def chemically induced.
