Is difficulty breathing a common complaint during withdrawal?

Recommended Posts

The most difficult symptom I deal with during withdrawals is feeling like I can't get a full breath (restricted lung expansion). Is this a common symptom for the rest of you?

I had this off and on too, it felt like I wasn't getting enough oxygen and needed to keep taking deep breaths. It went away for me thank God.

Yes it is,

it happened to me a couple days ago when I woke up in the mourning, but it doesn't happen to me that often now.  Used to happen to me all the time during my first taper attempt though.

YES!

hit me one week after being on xanax, I find exercise really helps with this, that and tappering of course, getting better each week.
