Years on benzo's, ad's.

Started taper 20mgs Valium at night 4/20/2011.

4th attempt to withdraw.

Was on 2mgs Hypnodorm and roughly 10mgs of Valium during the day.

Didnt do a taper for the day Vaium just a direct cut.

Only 2 weeks in had a few rough days.

Daily exercise and weekly CBT and a Benzo counsellor, also Chiro helping.

Congratulations on starting your taper from 20mg Valium.  If you've been reading around the forum, you probably know that you are on the benzo that most think is the easiest to taper off of.  I'm glad you are doing CBT and would like to hear more about the Benzo counselor.  I don't remember any other member mentioning one before.  Glad you are here.  If you have any questions, just ask.  That's what we're here for.

Hello and welcome to BB! Congrats on starting your taper. What is your taper plan? Slow and steady is the easiest way to go, cutting no more then 10% of your dose every 1-2 weeks as a guideline. Let us know how we can help.
