Hi ella, Welcome to BenzoBuddies!

We can make taper suggestions if you're interested in getting off the drug completely.  Are you currently at .5 mgs now?  Please have a look around the forum, and ask questions if you have them.

Hi Ella,

I am in the same boat, but only on it for 6 weeks.  I am going to get some advice on friday on how to continue my taper.  I went from .5 to .25 in two weeks. My body is telling me to stop, so I am listening. I'll let you know what i find out friday evening.

Here for ya!

Hi Ella and welcome.  I approved your account this morning and before I could welcome you on your thread, I lost my internet service for hours!

I see others have stepped in to welcome you. :)

Anyway, have you already started tapering your dose?  A good rule of thumb is to reduce your dose by 10% every 1-2 weeks.

This may not always be possible depending on the size tablets you have.  Would you be able to get .5 mg tablets?

That way, you could reduce your dose by .125 ( 1/4 pill) (some can reduce even less with titration) every 1 or 2 weeks.

Are you experiencing any withdrawal symptoms?

We're glad you found us and please feel free to ask questions. :)
