Hi! Is lunesta a benzo? My doc said it is not. I've been off all Ben is since March but having a had time sleeping. And I accidently took gaba for a fee days and now having a horrible time sleeping. Thank you so much

It's what they call a non-benzodiazepine, or a z-drug, it acts on the same receptors benzo's do, RUN away as fast as you can would be my suggestion!  I didn't and suffered greatly.

I took Lunesta, Ambien and benzo's on different nights for sleeps.  Lunesta helps you sleep but it will eventually turn on you too like the benzo's did.  Don't take it, is my advice.
