Has anyone tried NAC with success

Has anyone tried NAC to help with intrusive thoughts/ OCD caused by withdrawal. Seems to help some people, without side effects or problems when stopping it. Had such rubbish week figure things can't get much worse so worth trying for a while. Only taking liw dose 600mg. SSRI's did nothing in fact made things worse so figure it's worth trying can always stop if has adverse effects.

Only tried for couple days and was in acute withdrawal didn't really give it long enough. Had week from hell last week so figure worth trying as been off AD 8 weeks now I  saw a psychotherapist just before lockdown who was only person helped me, but not seeing face to face at moment. AD withdrawal seems pretty bad  as well. Are you still tapering?

I've tried it a few times. First time, I thought it gave a slight comforting feeling. Second time, nothing happened, third time it just gave me confusion, all the rest of the times I used it, it made me feel terribly anxious and disoriented (even at lower doses).
