"An increased rate of fractures in children, but not young adults, with anxiety disorders initiating benzodiazepine treatment compared to SSRI treatment suggests a need for increased caution in the weeks after benzodiazepine initiation in children."

It's extremely sad to think that young children are given benzodiazepines. Their brains are still developing, and the results of using psychiatric medications at that age are unknown. It's shameful to use these children as guinea pigs for a human experiment.
