Paranoid thoughts at 8 months

I do not understand the paranoid thinking.  It just happens and I know it’s happening...but the fact I know it is happening does not make it any easier.  I get annoyed, and scared too...I keep asking God for a pure heart and a clear mind.  That seems to be a great way for me to combat that paranoid thinking but gosh...I wish it would stop happening.  I definitely notice the paranoia to be less frequent but when I think this benzo hell is over then I get a nasty symptom again.  So annoying :(

Thanks for your help BBs, I hope you are all safe.

Love,

FL

It's pretty much because of panic and anxiety. It makes you have weird thoughts and makes us not think rationally. It gets better with time, even though it sucks temporarily. It's kind of that what if this what if that type of thinking. Just a little bit worse.

Thank you for responding.  Last night I had a thought my friends were conspiring against me...I laughed to myself but was mad at the same time.  First I was thinking these freaking benzos made me crazy, then I got mad because I’m like seriously, how much longer?!?!?

Now today, woke up with anxiety again and just want to cry.  Hell is not over...
