Would .25mg every 2 or 12.5 ever 1 week be easier?

I have no other choice. My doc wants everyone off of benzos. I’m current at 2.5mg a day. I was at 3 but was able to slowly taper before this. Would cutting .25 every two weeks be easier/better, or 12.5 a week? Help.

Klonopin. 1mg 3x a day. Down to 2.5mg a day. 1mg in the am and pm 1/2 mid day.
