Tapering off Klonipin

I was on 2 and a half mg a day . Took 3 times a day. The doctor told me to only take 2 mg a day but didn’t give me a tapering plan. I have been taking 1/2 in am 1/2 at 1:00 1/2 at 5:00 and 1/2 at 9pm. Can anyone help me to schedule the beat taper with the least side effects? I would greatly appreciate it? Thanks!

It would be very helpful to those responding if you fill out your signature with pertinent benzo history.

 

It looks like you made a large drop when you cut the initial .5mg. It is best to start a taper from a stable point. We suggest tapering 5-10% every 10-14 days. Clickhere for a program that will help you to create a taper plan.
