Builder or someone please help! Want to DLMT 5mg Diazepam @ 4%/14 days.

Hey guys,

I am struggling big time to taper off 5mg Diazepam/Valium.

I know that Builder answered a previous post by me saying you don't discard any solution.

The way I understand it is you make enough solution for 10-14 days.

I'm going to use full cream milk for this.

I am bad at maths.

I wish to reduce this amount by 4% of the daily dose every 14 days.

I know you need 10mL and a 1mL syringe for this. From what I've learnt, you draw this up from the diazepam liquid and drink it from the syringe.

Full cream milk, vodka or propylene glycol is used as the solvent.

You make up enough solution to last 10-14 days.

Then I'm totally lost.

Can I get Builder or someone to write up a conversion table, so I have an idea on where to go from there?

Just a question,

Is the taper supposed to show a curve, or a straight line?

It looks like an 800+ day taper with the curve, which sounds about right.

The straight line taper shows 320 days which to me seems too quick.

I think this is a glitch with the program.

You've practically done the math already.

 

Your dose is 5mg, and you want to cut 4%:

 

5mg X 4% = .2mg

 

And you want to spread that over 14 days:

 

.2mg/14 days = .014mg/day.

 

Make a 10-day supply of liquid:

 

50mg + 100ml vodka or PG + 400ml water.  That's 500ml, .1mg=1ml*

 

So your schedule would be:

 

5mg                50ml

4.986mg          49.86ml

4.972mg          49.72ml

4.958mg          49.58ml

Just reduce your dose by .14ml (.014mg) each day.  The 2nd column (mls) is the amount you pull up into syringes and drink.

 

*  If you prefer milk, just dissolve the 50mg in 500ml fresh milk.
