Trying again.

A few weeks ago i made the mistake of trying taper off ativan (.5mg 1-2x daily) when my life was at its most stressful and i didnt have any other anti anxiety medication to fall back on in case i ran into trouble.  Well now things in my life have calmed down for the time being and its my second week of taking buspar.  So i've decided to try to taper off the ativan yet again.  Im on my second day of taking 3/4 of a pill split into three doses and so far i'm not having any trouble.

If you are having trouble making these cuts, you might consider titration. By making a liquid from your Ativan tablets, you can make much smaller cuts.

Well, i'm doing okay on the 3/4 dose.  Friday was a bit tough but i got through it okay.  I plan on staying on this dose for at least another few days.  I'm planning on dropping down to 1/2 pill on sunday.
