Immune system

Are our immune systems weakened during withdrawal? My kids all have a cold and I've been doing everything I can to protect myself from getting sick because a few months ago I got pneumonia and then had levoquin which totally screwed me up.

 

Of course I'm coughing and congested and my wife doesn't seem to be sick - it's frustrating that I drink all this bone broth and take vitamins and supplements but still get sick so am I fighting a losing battle with my immune system? Are our immune systems just taking a beating right now that I can't do much to improve on?

Stress weakens your immune system and withdrawal is stressful.  You will probably get better once you get through your tapering and get off the benzo.
