Notice any benefit from reducing dose?

Did you notice any benefit from reducing your dose? Like less depression or

More energy?

I c/t'd, so my dose reduction was pretty big.  But I remember feeling like something heavy/negative had lifted off me the first day after not taking any Ativan.  I felt terrible from the c/t, but there was a definite positive feeling that I was out from under the effect of the drug.  I remember that feeling and how it made me feel like quitting that stuff was the right thing to do.  fwiw - I only took benzos at night to help me sleep, so I guess I had gone 36 hours without a dose (and without any sleep) when I became aware of that positive feeling.
