Anxiety killing me please urgent help

I have been taking ativan 2 mg for 3 months now

 

i dont want to depend on meds any longer

 

i want to taper off can you please give me a taper schedule to get off ativan

 

i know it should be 5-10% but please guide me with a schedule

how to taper in how many days and how much mg

I tapered Klonopin but would only cut by 1/8th of a mg. at a time (sometimes smaller) and hold for a few months if I needed to.  I've never taken Ativan (except when given it at the hospital), but perhaps some other Ativan users can chime in here.

Hi dilon. 2mg Ativan equals 20mg valium. If I were you I would switch to valium 20mg per day and use the tapering chart in the Ashton Manual for valium. Hope this helps,
