does a difficult taper point to a longer recovery?

Hi

Not sure if this is the right place for the question but I am still tapering so I thought why not.

My taper is a real trial, early wakening, dp/dr, depression etc not pretty.  Of course I am thinking ahead to the aftermath and wondering what I can expect.

Any views?

I think it depends on why the taper was difficult.  If a person tapered a little too aggressively, then the taper is likely to be rougher, but that may not translate to a longer recovery.  If a person tapered really slowly and had a lot of trouble, I'd be more concerned.

I'm sure there are many ways this plays out.  So difficult to know...
