I'm seeing my NP in a few hours, I'm wide awake and anxious. I have been taking a single dose of Ativan 2mg  I got several years ago at night for sleep. Can I do a direct c/o to Valium and what kind of taper schedule should I present to my HCP? I'm hoping she will work with me.

I started this dependency with her at .5 mg about 10 years ago and she's allowed me to up the dose through the 10 year period and I'm desperate to get off benzo' altogether but I do realize it's going to be a journey to do so. Any advice would be helpful.
