I was a child of the 80's.  I loved movies like ET, Goonies, Stand By Me etc.

 

This show, apart from being a huge nostalgia trip from the sets down to the style of the credits, is an absolutely fantastic piece of suspense filled sci-fi/fantasy in it's own right.  I hope it wins some awards. 

 

The entire first season is on Netflix right now.  Do watch it if you haven't already!  :thumbsup:

Loved this show. I binged watched it over 2 days.

It appears to be more late 70's early 80's. The reason I say this is because of the bikes. I love those bikes. I used to have one. The banana seats were so comfy, and the hang 10 stripped T-shirts.

 

Man....what a GREAT TIME to be a kid!
