Adrenal fatigue

I've been trying to hold on to 0.5 mg K but adrenal fatigue symptoms are just getting worse. At night I wake up every two hours with palpitations and sweat. After this disturbed sleep I try to get outside but anxiety and fatigue are making it very difficult even to take a walk. Evenings are usually better but other than that the days and nights are a write off. I tried different herbal supplements but there was little or no relief. I am planning to see my doctor today and look into beta blockers. I don't want to take anymore drugs but I'm getting desperate. Does anyone have experience with this condition?
