Knackered’s Dogs are Barking with Benzos

Hey there.  Knackered here. Knackered lives in a neighborhood of barking dogs.

Some of them bark at night.  And the rest seem to do it all day long.  He suspects that the night barkers go in sometime early on, so the daytime ones can take over.  They do a very good job of it (the barking that is).

This all seems of great concern to those who are not dog people. Just underneath the concerns people have about their barbecue missing and lawn chairs being pilfered, dog barking makes the ‘much annoyed and disliked’ list on the neighborhood news feed.

If you have a family member who walks on four legs and is covered in fur,  (the dog that is ) you know ‘dog- speak.’

The Knackered canine barks to go out. When he’s outside he barks if he wants to come in.  If he’s hungry, thirsty, or wants your attention, he barks. If the next door cat sneaks over to terrorize him, he barks desperately. It’s really very simple and if you live with a dog you’ve, no doubt got it figured out as well.

Some people with dogs don’t get it and become angry or frustrated.  They’re likely to put their family friend out in the yard where he/she barks all the more.  This, of course annoys the non-dog people and they post nasty stuff on the news feed.  It’s quite the vicious cycle .

Being out in the back yard all day or night has got to be immensely boring.  Dogs are social animals who have chosen to live with people.  It makes sense and is mutually rewarding to both parties.

Dogs are dependent on human families for their basic needs and much more.  Most enjoy going out, having recreational activities and being with others just as much as we do.  Left out all day, they’re going to put their anxiety, angst and loneliness out there.  They’ll bark and you’ll wind up on the news feed.

Barking dogs get a bad ‘rap’.  Their cries of distress go unheeded and their intentions misunderstood.

In order to discern what’s going on with our pets, we need to understand what’s going on in the universe.  Human beings think they are above all else, but in reality are simply the imagination of themselves.

Solid objects are condensed energy moving at a slow speed.  And this includes every known object and life form, including our dogs.  What appears as separation is construed by our senses to look that way.  In reality everything is one organic whole, made of the same subatomic particles.

We all share the same consciousness which is experiencing itself through us, irregardless of the life form into which we’ve been born.

It’s true that we have an advanced central nervous system as well as advanced communication skills.  But these days, we really have to ask ourselves 'how's that working out for us'?

We can get very egotistical in regard to our physical beings.  But our personalities are made of dream like qualities effected by culture, and conditioning.

Our pets share this existence, time and place with us.  Bring your dog in and give it a hug and extra treat tonight.  It’s really your best friend when all is said and done.  Of course it is.
