QUOTE BY:  BUDDHA'S

All the Buddha's of all the ages have been telling you a very simple fact:

Be - don't try to become.

Within these two words, be and becoming, your whole life is contained.

Being is enlightenment, becoming is ignorance.

Hey Alfred, do you have a photobucket account?  It's probably the easiest of all to use for hosting images.  It's free and all you do is simply upload the picture and then copy the image code.

Another goodie is Flickr, but I prefer Photobucket.

To love a person is to learn the song that is in their heart and sing it to them when they have forgotten.

Great Stuff Alfred, they now have some very cool free editing tools too.  I normally use Picasa for my photography business, but it's getting a little out dated now, also not bad if you want to edit some pics.

My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here,

My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer;

A-chasing the wild deer, and following the roe,

My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go.

~Robert Burns~

Or when am out and about and i come across an Englishman esp after a few Glenmorangies then am always happy to remind him that am

Scottish by birth, British by law,

a Highlander by the grace of God.

This is my wish for you:

Comfort on difficult days,

Smiles when sadness intrudes,

Rainbows to follow the clouds,

Laughter to kiss your lips,

Sunsets to warm your heart,

Hugs when spirits sag,

Beauty for your eyes to see,

Friendships to brighten your being,

Faith so that you can believe,

Confidence for when you doubt,

Courage to know yourself,

Patience to accept the truth,

Love to complete your life.

“Sometimes beautiful things come into our lives out of nowhere.

We can't always understand them, but we have to trust in them.

I know you want to question everything, but sometimes it pays to just have a little faith.”

Hi Staffy

"''Now'' is the operative word.

Everything you put in your way is just a method of putting off the hour when you could actually be doing your dream.

You don't need endless time and perfect conditions.

Do it now.

Do it today.

Do it for twenty minutes and watch your heart start beating."

While the laughter of joy is in

full harmony with our deeper life,

the laughter of amusement

should be kept apart from it.

The danger is too great of thus learning

to look at solemn things in a spirit of mockery,

and to seek in them opportunities for exercising wit.

you can spend it anyway you wish,

"No one is born hating another person because of the

colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion.

People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate,

they can be taught to love, for love comes more

naturally to the human heart than it's opposite."

~ Nelson Mandela ~

There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a

life that is less than the one you are capable of living."

"And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously

give other people permission to do the same."

“Today is a new day. Don't let your history interfere with your destiny!

Let today be the day you stop being a victim of your circumstances

and start taking action towards the life you want.

You have the power and the time to shape your life.

Break free from the poisonous victim mentality

and embrace the truth of your greatness.

You were not meant for a mundane or mediocre life!”

We all Need a Tree!

I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck refused to start.

While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands.

When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation.. His face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.

Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier.

'Oh, that's my trouble tree,' he replied 'I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children.. So I just hang them

up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again.' 'Funny thing is,' he smiled,' when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before.'

The story was such that I couldn't make a graceful

ending and then make a graceful new beginning.

I could have, but I didn't want to.

So, it isn't the most graceful way of writing a story.

This new story is, I think, is pretty good stuff.

I'm pleased with it anyway.
