I have a friend who is tapering from diazepam and who has been offered Botox for a jaw problem. Is this safe in withdrawal?

I have had Botox intrascalene. I did not have this while tapering or in withdrawal. Botox side effects can be flu like symptoms and I did experience that for a day or so. One has to weigh the risks and benefits. I did this quite often during withdrawal when presented with severe shoulder issues that hampered my ability to play piano.

I had Botox for jaw issues prior to withdrawal and never experienced any side effects. Unfortunately for me it didn’t work, but if I recall correctly there was one member here who did it during withdrawal that had great success. 

Like @[pi...] said everyone has to weigh the risks and benefits.
