Dealing with regret and loss

Has anyone found an effective way to deal with the sense of regret and loss that accompany benzo dependence and withdrawal? I know we have to accept the things we cannot change, but it's incredibly hard.

It disappeared when i had accepted the "new me".

I think my brain sorted it out by itself. 

I'm not after getting back to myself before this. I'm building up a new version.

@[Lo...] I'm really sorry to hear that. I think there is a grieving process that we need to go through and hopefully this will get easier with time.
