switched to valium from librium

i was on 25mg librium for 2 months daily and the occasional .5mg ativan, i’ve tapered down to 5mg librium once a day (took two months so four months use altogether) i can’t split the capsules in half for the final step of 2.5, i was given valium 1mg which is the equivalent of the 2.5 librium. is this switch safe?

I don't know what about substituting valium for librium but i did lots of switching from one benzo to another. I think it's safe but still might feel extremely unpleasant for some time.
