8 months out update :)

I'm not having a speedy recovery but i reached a point in the healing were I can say life is ok!

I did a ct 8 months ago and it was crazy. I had every symptom but akathisia and compulsive vomiting was my major problem. It disappeared 3 month out.

I have a fading tinnitus and some minor anxiety just when i wake up.

Insomnia is a issue from time to time.  I bought a vape with THC/CBD in it and it really helps when i use it.

I'm not sure about getting 100% back to who i was before. But I'm ok with this new guy

I think your right. But it's a mental thing if I accept not being 100% it's easier.

I know. I am at same point in recovery And I am happy with this progress. Its important to be able to focus on other thing in life And not focus so much on wd simptoms anymore. Relief 🍀

I think it is probably a good thing we don't get back to who we were before as that was when we took benzos! I never want to be that person again!

So glad to read about the excellent progress you are making despite a harsh cold turkey. Some members fresh off or still tapering need to see situations like yours to know that people can have major improvements in a relatively short amount of time. Please continue to keep us updated Peppe le pew.

Not only are you an example that people can heal a lot in a short amount of time, but your case also shows that using other psyche drugs does not mean healing can't happen. That is a fear that many people in withdrawal that are still on other meds have.

Great to hear! Another 8 months recovering and you'll be better than ever. You've made massive progress. Insomnia is the most lingering symptom for a lot off people from what I can gather, but if you can beat aka then you can beat anything

I am so glad to hear these news @[PE...]It is so good to hear you are doing well! Our recovery seems to happen in these small tiny steps we all experience, we just need to look back from time to time to see these progressive changes. Believe me you will feel even better soon
