I can't do that anymore. Updose, tolerance..

Hy. I think you all know my Story.

If you don't please read it I can't think clear right now.

I was in tolerance on 150 mg diazepam, reduced too fast, updosed from 4 mg to 30 mg.

 

i am stucked here since three month.

If i am allready in tolerance, what I am, another updose can't Help, right?

 

my Symptoms are unbearable.

i don't know what to do.

i need help.

but my doc only said go to 50 mg.

But how could that work while in tolerance.

i have all the Symptoms of protracted WD.

I am really really sorry you are struggling. I don't think there are symptoms specific to "protracted * withdrawal, that seems to be linked to time spent in this condition. You are most likely suffering from symptoms from the rapid cessation. I can assure you that it is going to get better with time, but you have heard that already from me. 

Updosing does not cure this injury, it seems so. It heals on its own. I did notice significant changes in months 5-6, you might be closer to getting better as you think. All those people out there who have gone through the same thing like us - I understand what you mean, I really do, but think about them. All have gotten better, they are not on this site anymore. 

The only thing I can tell you, hang in there, try to do anything that gets your mind off. Is there anything that makes you feel better?

Das Einzige, was ich Ihnen sagen kann: Bleiben Sie dran und versuchen Sie, alles zu tun, was Sie aus der Fassung bringt. Gibt es etwas, das Ihnen ein besseres Gefühl gibt?

My brain always whispers "updose more. Maybe that helps because its nearer on your starting dose"..

Yes everybody gets better - after 0 mg.

But how can I suffer that bad while still on 30 mg?!

Did going up from 4mg to 30mg help?  If it didn't I wouldn't updose again. Just start the taper.

My doc won't give me Things like Gabapentin.

I tried so many Antidepressants since I was 16. None worked.

It did help lets say about 40 percent the first weeks. The vertigo stayed.

If it's mainly just vertigo I wouldn't updose.  What are your symptoms?

Wenn ich das, was ich für Depressionen und Angstzustände hielt, gegen das eintauschen könnte, was ich jetzt habe, würde ich es sofort tun, denn es war nichts im Vergleich dazu!!

Was Sie darüber gesagt haben, dass Menschen nur dann Symptome haben, wenn sie ausgeschaltet sind, stimmt einfach nicht. Viele Menschen nehmen mit schlimmen Symptomen das Medikament ein. In manchen Fällen bessern sich die Symptome mit abnehmender Intensität, wenn Ihnen das Hoffnung und Sicherheit gibt. Möglicherweise stabilisieren Sie sich nicht. Es kommt nicht selten vor, dass sich beides auch beim Halten nicht stabilisiert. Eine Hochdosierung ist nicht mit Garantien verbunden und kann eine ohnehin schon schlechte Situation sogar noch verschlimmern.

Haben Sie soziale Unterstützung? Führen Sie ein Coaching durch oder suchen Sie einen Benzo-Arzt in der Gemeinde auf?

Permanent Vertigo, Panic, akasthisie, muscle cramps, Neck and tongue cramps, extreme Depression, i cant swallow, restless legs, insomnia, intrusive thoughts, amnesia, shacking and so on..

I have Nobody. I am from Germany we don't have a lot like that here. And i have not enough money to pay for help from the USA or something.

Though! I was also on 150mg diazepam, and other benzos  the whole last year waiting to stabilize. I never did. Going ct was way better then in full withdrawal while on the stuff.

I know this goes against this community's guidlines but still. I don't think slow tapers works for everyone. Especially high dosers.

I understand about the benzo equivalency. I was just curious about why so much after two years of ativan?

I am guessing 2.5 mg. 25mg would not be sustainable as a dose. Although I know people who took 12-1500 mg of Valium. Believe it or not, they are not as harmed as I was taking 1.5mg as directed. The idiot ER doctors wrote 25mg on my medical records and docs assumed I was a drug addict so I bet it was a typing mistake.

And i thought I was crazy doing 150mg. 1500mg is 150 pills omg.. I gave up when 15 pills didn't do anything for me.
