What is cross tolerance? BZD and steroids

 I have a question. What is cross tolerance of steroids with benzo?

I was prescribed benzo and steroids at same time 5 years ago and had immediate problems

I have never read about cross tolerance between the two classes. In fact, benzos are often prescribed to counteract the effects of steroids, specifically the nervousness and insomnia. However, the benzo dose will have to be increased because steroid will affect the metabolism of benzos and cause the plasma levels of the benzos to be low.  What research have you read about cross-tolerance?

@[Sw...] I don't know about cross- tolerance, but lots of members have reported setbacks with steroids. You can use the search function to search for steriods and see what comes up.
