processing speed (psychomotor alertness)/ eye speed (saccades)

I've read some cog fog stories - it seems to be the last thing to go away. Most cog fog symptoms are memory/creativity/thought production, they all seem to heal. Pretty much all of the sub factors of psychometric g (general intelligence) are talked about in terms of healing, except processing speed.(here is psychometric G's breakdown into the current subfactors model: https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Standardized-factor-loadings-for-the-three-stratum-theory-of-intelligence-from-Bickley_fig4_10986366) I don't mean to be a debbie downer, it's just that i'm concerned if processing speed is really recuperable. I know the speed of saccades (eye movements when refocusing on a target) are used as an index of measurement for brain speed (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1463359/) and are certainly impaired by benzos (https://ascpt.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/cpt1971124563#:~:text=Effect of benzodiazepines upon saccadic eye movements in man,-The saccade or&text=It was found that 30,stable and reproducible in uulioiduals.) so I have to ask anyone who recovered somewhat their processing speed, did your saccades regain somewhat of their ballistic jerk when refocusing? but that implies that processing speed is recuperable, so i really want to ask... did you heal to any extent your processing speed? and if so, to what extent?

i really don't wanto to be a debbie downer, but i also don't want to lie to myself. The best thing i can do for myself is conserve hope if other people recovered, and stay treating myself good. Also, I mean recover saccade speed after you've been off for a while. some people will say eye movement came back after stopping meds, but what i mean is after you've been off of meds and then have been slow for a while after coming off of meds(sorry, I don't know terminology, i'm slow), did you recover processing speed/saccade speed?
