HOW LONG IS ACUTE WITHDRAWAL IN RECOVERY ?

What are good estimates of the timeline of acute withdrawal?  1-2 months ?

If one starts AW with very rough symptoms,  does this necessarily mean that time in AW longer ?

It took me 2 months,  although I wasn't coming off a controlled taper.

I say 2 months because,  for me, I was in psychosis and heavy dpdr during that time.  When I "woke up" was when my mind was clear enough to realize that I was in withdrawal.
