Severe back pain

Has anyone had horrible back pain while tapering. It started in my lower back and has moved up to the middle of my back. It’s so stiff and won’t loosen up. I can’t take any Tylenol or ibuprofen due to gastritis. I feel like I’m 100 years old.

I’m so sorry you’re in such pain. If it’s internal pain, you may want a doc opinion. Depending on where located, could be kidney, or other organ issue.

Muscle pain (in legs, abdomen, sides and back) is quite a common symptom.  My main symptom from cold turkey off valium has been severe muscle pain/burning/electric buzzing.  I am now off benzos for 35 months and in a really bad 7 week wave of extreme muscle pain.  Feels like when I just stopped.  Awful.

Lower back pain now for 2 months...no better despite physio, exercise etc...very painful all day!
