I don’t think I can “wait” this out much longer. Have any of my fellow sufferers tried another medication or researched anything that works during PAWs?

at the moment I'm taking 50mg trazodone and 7.5mg mirtazapine together.  maybe you could do one or both of these, maybe at even lower dose?

What symptoms are they helping with?

anxiety and sleep. mainly sleep, although not last night.

Does it help with the anxiety? Are you functional?

no I'm not functional at all.  I only tried it a few days, then went up in dose, and back down last night.  I sleep 2 hours a night, but when I took it I slept 3nights  out of 5 for 6 or 7 hours.  and one night 4 hours.  

 

are you functional?  I can't take this much more either.  not one decent breath.

I suppose it depends on what symptoms you're trying to treat. There's nothing that's going to solve everything. There's also a few issues such as sensitivity. But Pregabilin or gabapentine have been discussed regularly. There was a support group here for them, as they can also be difficult to come off too and you can hit tolerance. If you search them you'll find plenty of information.
