ECG results

Hi,

Anyone here able to read ECG's? Just had the paramedics out and had my ECG done. Told them I'm tapering off Valium, had ECG done and they said everything is ok but I've looked at the ECG and it doesn't look right at all. I've compared it to one I had in March and it is totally different.

Can 2 ECG's be totally the same? Or are they mainly all different?

(Not a doctor)

I went through a phase of being an extreme hypochondriac about my heart. I would go to the doctor multiple times a month thinking I was having a heart attack, or some sort of cardiac event.

I became pretty good at understanding ECG’s from my experience, I even picked up an Apple Watch with a built in ECG so I could check it whenever I wanted.

on the top or bottom of your ECG printout, it should say something like “normal sinus rhythm” or something else like that. If it says “sinus rhythm” then you have nothing to worry about.

Your ECG will look different from a previous ECG if your heart rate is faster or slower, but if I was different in any other way, the doctor would’ve mentioned it to you.

do you have a picture of it that we can look at?
