Worried about liquid & sub-lingual!

Because Valium sort of melts in one's mouth, and has a sweet taste, I always took it sublingual - also figuring it would hit faster.

However, I just read the Valium is processed by the liver, so if you take it sub lingual you're not fulling getting the drug - which would explain a lot of tolerance withdrawal.

More importantly - I just switched to 3/5 liquid -- if I just put the drops in my mouth, does that means it bypasses the liver?

What would be the best liquid to put the Valium in to drink it down?
