Hey what's up D? Glad the peepers are getting better.. I worked today, just waiting for my granddaughter to get off her bus now..I cut again today, was going to wait until Sunday but I was feeling good enough and brave enough so I did it! We'll see how it goes but this cut now brings me down to 1.25.. I won't change my profile until Sunday though, just waiting to see how it goes for a couple days before I change it bc ya never know 😝🤔..

Happy Saturday, everyone. Was not on yesterday. Feeling a bit overwhelmed with my husband leaving for India. I guess my taper is going relatively ok. No pain or dizziness like I had initially. I am feeling anxious, but I don’t know if it is really any different than before. I am not setting any time to make another cut. Just watch and wait. Mary,so glad you are doing ok and this is all behind you. Trishy, glad you felt well enough to do a cut. I think you are making great progress. I am very used to him being gone and I have always been fine alone. Not now. I feel like a frightened child. This is what the taper has done to me. The anxiety and depression were not helped by holding. Some things were. But I live with this all the time now. I believe it also comes from just being on the k. Every year I took it, I became more and more anxious and depressed in a way I had never experienced. Tolerance for me was living with swings from increasing mental distress to periods of normality. The normal periods were becoming very infrequent by last year. It was like a window/wave pattern. Now I understand that. So, I am not so good. But I am not in the place I was last summer where I couldn’t even drive or walk straight. Am holding until however long it takes to be ready to cut again. Making no projections now. Hey E, you know when I was on 3 mgs of Xanax I was experiencing horrible depression and horrible anxiety..I never put two and two together! It was the damn Xanax making my already anxious brain so much worse.. When I think back to how I was then and now on a lower dose I'm so much better, not perfect still have anxiety and like English intrusive thoughts but so much less so now. I remember thinking it was maybe perimenopause causing all of this but it wasn't, it was definitely the damn drug. Even on two mgs of Xanax I was still pretty bad with the anxiety but the depression was at levels I'd never experienced before in my life and I used to cry to my husband all the time and he would ask me why I felt so bad and I would tell him I had no idea that it must be a chemical imbalance ... If only I had known, I caused my family so much worry and they were miserable because I was always sad and miserable 🤦.. Uhg!!
